Registered Nurse - OR - PRN

About the Role

Provide professional nursing care in the operative setting for patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures.

• Perform scrub functions, including handling instruments and supplies.
• Conduct circulating duties such as monitoring patient condition, documenting, and managing overall nursing care before, during, and after procedures.
• Assist physicians with surgical tasks like hemostasis, suturing, wound exposure, and patient positioning.
• Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and equipment for procedures.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse from the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• CPR/BLS certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of one year of RN experience.
