About the role

We are seeking an individual with a minimum of one year of RN experience in the OR for this role. This position is also referral eligible.

Responsibilities

  • Circulate between operating rooms and preoperative/postoperative areas
  • Assist surgeons during procedures
  • Monitor patient vitals and prepare patients for surgery
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of equipment
  • Document patient care activities accurately and timely
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and skill enhancement

Requirements

  • Requires Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program
  • Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO)
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
  • Other Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies
