Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medication, wound care, and monitoring vital signs.
- Aid in activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, medications, and self-care techniques.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records.
- Maintain vigilance for changes in patients' conditions and report them to the appropriate medical staff.
- Adhere to nursing standards and protocols.
Requirements
- Current unrestricted Wyoming Registered Nurse license or Licensed Practical Nurse license.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a registered nurse preferred, but not required.
- BLS certification, required.
- Familiarity with Cerner electronic health record system is a plus.
- Proficiency in catheterization, DME (Durable Medical Equipment), sonography, and home care procedures.
- Central Registry, required on start.
Qualifications
- Education: Current unrestricted Wyoming Registered Nurse license or Licensed Practical Nurse license.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a registered nurse preferred, but not required.
- Licenses/Certifications: BLS certification, required. Central Registry, required on start.
