Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medication, wound care, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Aid in activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, medications, and self-care techniques.
  • Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records.
  • Maintain vigilance for changes in patients' conditions and report them to the appropriate medical staff.
  • Adhere to nursing standards and protocols.

Requirements

  • Current unrestricted Wyoming Registered Nurse license or Licensed Practical Nurse license.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a registered nurse preferred, but not required.
  • BLS certification, required.
  • Familiarity with Cerner electronic health record system is a plus.
  • Proficiency in catheterization, DME (Durable Medical Equipment), sonography, and home care procedures.
  • Central Registry, required on start.

Qualifications

  • Education: Current unrestricted Wyoming Registered Nurse license or Licensed Practical Nurse license.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a registered nurse preferred, but not required.
  • Licenses/Certifications: BLS certification, required. Central Registry, required on start.

  • Strong knowledge of nursing principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Careful and compassionate attitude towards patients.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
