About the role
Seeking a Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse Resident to provide patient care in the Operating Room setting. The role involves working alongside surgical teams, preop staff, and anesthesia providers to deliver safe, compassionate care during various surgical procedures, with opportunities to cross-train or advance in roles like scrub or First Assist.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care
- Ensure patient rights and confidentiality
- Evaluate care effectiveness
- Coordinate with other departments
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current RN licensure
- BLS certification (with ACLS as required)
Preferred candidates have at least 1 year of RN or OR experience.
Physical demands
- Lifting up to 50 pounds
- Prolonged standing and walking
- Various movements such as bending and reaching
