About the role
Full-time position with hours from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, including call, weekend, and holiday schedules.
Responsibilities
- Utilizing the nursing process for patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Revising care plans as needed and practicing according to physician orders, policies, and nursing standards
- Delivering safe, patient-centered care in the operating room environment
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program; ASN nurses hired after May 1, 2014, must obtain a BSN within three years
- Current Illinois RN license and CPR certification from the American Heart Association
Skills
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, policies, and ethical standards
- Ability to collaborate with healthcare team and adapt to changing patient needs
