About the role
Perioperative Registered Nurse providing direct patient care during surgical procedures for pediatric to geriatric populations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess surgical environment for safety concerns and intervene as needed.
- Act as patient advocate and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure successful procedures.
- Assist in orienting new staff and supporting educational programs.
- Maintain supplies and equipment necessary for perioperative care.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an approved nursing program; BSN preferred.
- IL RN License and CPR/BLS certification by American Heart Association.
- Minimum 2 years of perioperative RN experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills.
