Position Highlights
- Position: Registered Nurse
- Location: Evanston, IL
- Schedule: Full time, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday–Friday availability with call requirements (nights and weekends included)
What You Will Do
- Provide direct patient care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations during the perioperative period, using specialized knowledge and skills to achieve desired patient outcomes
- Function as patient advocate
- Assess the surgical environment for potential patient safety concerns and intervene appropriately while working with the surgical team to facilitate the completion of the surgical procedure
- May assume responsibility for the orientation of new staff members, educational programs, and securing and maintaining supplies and equipment necessary for the delivery of care
What You Will Need
- Education: Graduate of a state approved school of nursing required; BSN preferred
- License/Certification: IL RN License; CPR BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Experience: 2 years RN experience in perioperative care preferred
- Basic computer skills
