Northwest Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) is a multi-specialty, ambulatory surgical center located in the northwest section of Portland, OR. We believe health and care are inseparable. We focus on offering a high quality, service oriented environment for your surgical procedure. Our facility is accredited by Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.
Responsibilities
- Provides nursing care and service during surgery cases.
- Positions the patient and preps the patient.
- Circulates the case.
- Focuses on excellent customer service.
- Demonstrates the ability to multi-task and show flexibility in assignments.
- Maintains scrupulous infection control standards.
- Maintains professional competencies.
- Works as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday daytime work schedule
- No call required
- No nights, weekends, or holidays
Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current unrestricted RN license in Oregon.
- 1+ years RN OR Circulator experience with orthopedic cases required.
- Current American Heart BLS certification.
