Registered Nurse, OR, 40 Hours

About the role

The OR at Griffin Hospital is a progressive, state-of-the-art environment where the entire staff are valued members of the surgical team. Advanced neuro-surgical procedures and a full range of minimally invasive techniques including Radio Frequency Ablation are among the surgical services offered.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Assist in surgical procedures under the supervision of the surgeon.
• Manage post-operative care plans and monitor patients' recovery.
• Ensure sterile technique and maintain a clean, organized operating room environment.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding their care and treatment plan.

Requirements

• CT RN license required.
• One year OR nursing experience required (or perioperative training program); CNOR preferred.
