Registered Nurse - Operating Room - PRN

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care and ensure patient rights and confidentiality.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other caregivers and coordinate patient care across departments.
• Maintain professional accountability in delivering high-quality nursing services.
• Perform nursing duties consistent with mission, values, and standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in the state or compact licensure, meeting all licensing requirements.
• Ability to lift, push, pull 50 pounds and perform prolonged standing, walking, and various physical tasks.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire.

Skills

• Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PEARS, C-EFM, or other unit-specific certifications may be required or preferred.
