Responsibilities
- Utilizing the nursing process to deliver patient care
- Evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by others
- Coordinating patient care with departments
- Maintaining patient rights and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current RN license in the appropriate state or jurisdiction, meeting all licensing requirements
- Ability to lift, push, pull 50 pounds regularly
- Prolonged standing and walking capabilities
- Capabilities to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained within 30 days
- Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP, and others may be required based on the department or unit
