Registered Nurse - Operating Room - PRN

About the Role

Utilizes the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating care effectiveness. Coordinates patient care with other departments, maintains patient rights, and upholds confidentiality. Performs duties aligned with organizational mission, values, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, assess patient needs, and collaborate with healthcare teams.
• Maintain safety protocols and documentation.
• Support patient rights and confidentiality while delivering compassionate care.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, implement care plans, and evaluate outcomes.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure coordinated care.
• Adhere to safety and organizational standards.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN licensure in the relevant state or compact.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, or others as required by the department.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs.
• Prolonged standing, walking, and physical mobility are necessary.
