Registered Nurse - Operating Room - Part Time

Role: The RN Clinical Periop Nurse provides high-quality, safe, patient-centered care in the operating room for general surgery, collaborating within an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities: Performs the nursing process, delivers relationship-based care, coordinates care, participates in performance improvement, and supports evidence-based practice. Engages in professional development, mentoring, and research activities, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and standards. Qualifications: Requires an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing, RN licensure (single or multi-state), BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications, and a minimum of 5 years of direct patient care experience. Skills: Critical thinking, teamwork, effective communication, adaptability to cultural diversity, and knowledge of clinical standards. Key duties include assessing patients, planning and implementing care, documenting accurately, participating in protocols, and supporting system-wide quality initiatives.
