Registered Nurse - Operating Room - Part Time

About the role

The RN Clinical Periop Nurse provides high-quality, safe patient care in the operating room for general surgery. They collaborate within an interdisciplinary team, utilizing evidence-based practices, and ensure individualized care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Support performance improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and critical thinking.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor to staff.

• Assist in protocol development and support safety standards.
• Maintain compliance with organizational policies.

Requirements

• Valid RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (required upon hire).
• Minimum of 5 years of direct patient care experience.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing.
