Registered Nurse Operating Room II - Specialized Outpatient Surgery Center

We are actively hiring for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room. Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
• Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.
• Successful completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification.
• Successful completion of Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course within 90 days of employment if pediatric care is included in the facility’s scope of services.

One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred. Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.

Pay

USD $38.00 – $46.00 per hour.
