About the role
Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by team members. Coordinate patient care with other departments, uphold patient rights, and maintain confidentiality. Perform duties aligned with organizational mission, values, and standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process
- Evaluate and improve care quality
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care
- Ensure patient rights and confidentiality are maintained
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN license in the state or licensed through a compact jurisdiction, meeting all licensing requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or completed within 30 days of hire
- Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PEARS, or unit-specific credentials may be required based on the department
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs regularly, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform various physical tasks
