Responsibilities
- Perform scrub functions, handling instruments and supplies during surgery.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions, managing overall nursing care before, during, and after procedures.
- Aid surgeons with tasks such as hemostasis, suturing, wound exposure, and patient positioning.
- Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and equipment for surgical procedures.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a registered nurse, obtained from the appropriate state board.
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) within 6 months and BLS within 1 month of hire or transfer.
- Minimum 1 year of recent OR experience preferred.
