Registered Nurse - Operating Room
About the role
OrthoAtlanta Surgery Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Operating Room (OR) team. We are a fast-paced, 3-OR, 8-bay ambulatory surgery center specializing in orthopedic and pain management procedures. Located within Piedmont Fayette, we perform a wide variety of surgical cases including hand, sports medicine, foot and ankle, and total joint replacements.
Responsibilities
- Care for patients up to ASA III in a dynamic clinical environment
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and high-quality patient care
- Deliver compassionate care in a team-based environment
- Document clinical information accurately and efficiently
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in Georgia or compact state
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- 2 years of RN experience in the OR preferred
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Effective critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
- Team-oriented attitude prioritizing patient safety and comfort
- Precision and attention to detail in documentation and clinical execution
