Registered Nurse - Operating Room Ambulatory

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a full-time position in an Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) operating room. The role involves assisting with procedures such as Ophthalmology, Pain, and Podiatry, ensuring patient safety and care quality.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent OR experience (Interventional Radiology experience also considered)
• High school diploma or GED
• Accredited nursing degree (2-year or associate preferred; bachelor's degree is a plus)
• Current RN licensure

Qualifications

• Additional certifications such as ACLS and PALS are preferred
• Thorough understanding of RN responsibilities per state nurse practice acts
• Ability to prioritize and organize workload
• Adapt care based on patient age
• Interpret patient needs
• Proficient telephone screening and interviewing skills
