About the Role
This role involves providing patient care on a Med Surg unit with diverse specialties, including oncology, blood disorders, and diabetic patients. You will work in a 23-bed unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 6:1, caring for patients preparing for or recovering from medical and surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate nursing care to patients.
- Cross-train across specialties to develop broad clinical knowledge.
- Support patient recovery through evidence-based practices.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN licensure.
- American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications (or within 90 days of hire).
