Registered Nurse - Oncology Infusion - Full Time - Days

Role: Registered Nurse in an Infusion Clinic Responsibilities: Develops and evaluates patient care plans, assesses patient health data, and communicates effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team. Provides education tailored to individual needs, supports self-management, and ensures compassionate psychological support. Assists technical staff with procedures, participates in quality improvement and research activities, and maintains compliance with regulations. May conduct wound/ostomy/skin care rounds if skilled. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, current Illinois RN licensure, and BLS/CPR certification are required. Minimum of 1 year RN experience, with oncology/infusion nursing preferred. Certification in OCN/ONS is required or must be obtained. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and compassionate care skills are essential. Key Duties: Collaborate with healthcare team, individualize patient education, assist with procedures, and contribute to professional development and quality initiatives. Provide safe, effective, and patient-centered nursing care in a fast-paced infusion setting.
