About the role
The role involves providing direct nursing care in the OB Emergency Department, ensuring patient safety and well-being according to organizational policies and protocols.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Record and communicate patient conditions.
- Serve as the primary coordinator for multidisciplinary patient care.
- Carry out physician and nursing orders accurately.
- Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Active licensure as a Registered Nurse from the Alabama Board of Nursing.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire, with Advanced Life Support (ACLS) within 180 days.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
