About the role
Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Triages patients. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
Responsibilities

- Establish patient care goals and educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and self-care skills
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of Texas
- 2+ years of OB / Labor and Delivery experience required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
- ACLS, BLS, AWHONN fetal monitoring, NRP, STABLE certifications required
- Experience using: Fetal monitor (CPN), EMR (MT), pulse oximeter, Panda warmer

Pay
$10,000 Sign-On Bonus with an 18-month commitment. Relocation assistance available.
Schedule
Full-time night shift, 12-hour shifts (7pm-7am).
