About the role

Department: Nursery | Shift: Full-Time, Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Facility: Olympia Fields Hospital | Location: Olympia Fields, IL

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
• Provide a safe environment for patients and visitors.
• Utilize the chain of command to ensure patient well-being and appropriateness of care to neonates from post-delivery stabilization through discharge.
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice with assistance to neonates in the NICU.

Requirements

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• NRP (AHA) certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• One year of experience in an acute care setting with experience in nursery or NICU environment.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Pay

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $35.35 to $53.58 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
