Registered Nurse (Nights)
This is a full-time role at Lake Behavioral Hospital, a 161-bed acute care facility in Waukegan, IL, providing mental health treatment to adolescents, adults, and their families since 2018. We offer specialized inpatient programs and outpatient services focused on decreasing symptoms of mental illness and improving well-being.
About the role
The Registered Nurse assesses, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. You will actively engage in the healthcare team, offering direct and indirect care to patients, families, and legal guardians.
- Assess patients' physical and psychological conditions continuously throughout their care journey.
- Utilize the nursing process in alignment with the philosophy, objectives, values, mission, and core principles of Lake Behavioral Hospital.
- Uphold a safe therapeutic environment grounded in our core values.
- Collaborate as an integral member of the multidisciplinary treatment team, actively contributing to the development, implementation, and documentation of tailored goals and interventions based on patient strengths and psychiatric challenges.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program with a valid Illinois State RN license.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- At least three years of experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility.

Pay
Expected compensation range is $33.00 - $46.00 hourly with a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Consideration will be provided based on experience and skill level. You may opt for 100% employer-paid benefits or additional pay in lieu of benefits.
