About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) works under the supervision of the Charge Nurse and is responsible for providing professional care to an assigned patient population. Utilizing the nursing process and principles of continuous quality improvement, the RN collaborates with other healthcare team members. This role includes managing both staff and patients within a designated unit and may involve duties across various departments, including Medical‑Surgical, Obstetrics, Nursery, Surgery, and the Emergency Room.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Texas
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at hire, with maintenance throughout employment
• Strong computer and Excel skills
• Certification in ACLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC, fetal monitoring, and neonatal resuscitation must be obtained within 18 months of hire
