Additional details on our benefits can be found on our website www.seattlechildrens.org/careers/benefits. - About Us: Hope. Care. Cure. ... (mission statement). Then details about founding promise, region served, rankings, Magnet designated, core values, etc. - Our Commitment: Seattle Children’s welcomes people of all experiences, backgrounds, and thoughts ... Equal Opportunity Workplace and Affirmative Action Employer. This is EEO boilerplate; we should remove EEO/equal-opportunity boilerplate. The instruction says remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate. So we should remove the "Our Commitment" paragraph that is EEO statement. Also remove any duplicated lines. We need to decide sections: Likely sections: About the role (maybe summary), Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We have content for: - About the role: Could be the introductory paragraph about relocation assistance, training, orientation, shift pattern, NICU description. That seems like role description. - Responsibilities: The paragraph about RN functions within scope, providing safe family centered care, using nursing care process, assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, supervision/delegation, assisting in meeting strategic goals (CPI, etc.). That is responsibilities. - Requirements: Required Education And Experience, Required Credentials (license, BLS, PALS/PEARS, etc.), plus note about PALS requirement within 3 months, diploma/transcript for point of care testing, foreign credential evaluation. Also Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Pediatric health care nursing experience. - Qualifications: Might overlap with Requirements; but we can treat Requirements as qualifications. However we need to follow instruction: Use headings for sections only if posting has real specific content. We could have sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Skills maybe not explicitly listed; we could omit Skills if no specific skill list. - Benefits: we have benefits paragraph. - Pay: compensation range. - Schedule: Day/Night rotating shift will be 6 weeks Days, 6 weeks Nights. We also have relocation assistance available (could be part of About the role). Also note about training for adult RN experience. We must preserve all substantive info, not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to include all details from those sections. We must not include boilerplate like EEO, legal, etc. Also remove duplicated lines (maybe repeated phrases). Ensure we don't include "NOTE: Pediatric Emergency Assessment..." etc? That's part of requirements, keep. We must not include application instructions (none present). Also remove "Disclaimer for Out of State Applicants" maybe part of Pay section? It's about compensation range specifics; we can keep as part of Pay. We must not include "About Us" maybe considered boilerplate? It's mission statement; could be considered About the role? The instruction says we can include About the role heading; we could put the About Us content under About the role? But About Us is more about organization; still substantive. However we might treat it as About the role? The posting already has a description of the role and unit; About Us is separate. The instruction says we should include a section ONLY when the posting has real, specific content for it. About Us is specific content about the organization. Could be included as a section maybe "About the organization". But allowed headings are limited to those listed: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. So we cannot add a custom heading like About Us. We could incorporate About Us content under About the role? Might be okay but risk misrepresenting. However the instruction says use those headings for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It doesn't forbid other headings? It says use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). The "e.g." suggests those are examples, but likely they expect only those headings. Safer to stick to those. Thus we can put About the role content: includes relocation assistance, training, orientation, shift description, NICU description, maybe also About Us? But About Us is more about organization; still could be part of About the role? Might be okay. We need to avoid duplication: The shift description appears both in About the role (Day/Night rotating shift will be 6 weeks Days, 6 weeks Nights) and also Schedule section. We should not duplicate; we can mention shift in About the role briefly, and then Schedule section can have the same info? That would be duplication. Better to put shift details only in Schedule section, and not repeat in About the role. However About the role currently includes that sentence; we could remove it from About the role to avoid duplication. But we must preserve ALL substantive information; we can't discard it. We could keep it in About the role and not have a separate Schedule section, but then we would lose the Schedule heading. However the instruction says include a section ONLY when the posting has real, specific content for it. If we put shift info in About the role, we could still have a Schedule section but it would be duplicate. Better to have Schedule section with the shift details, and keep About the role without that sentence (but then we lose that info). However we could keep the sentence in About the role and also have Schedule section referencing same info but that's duplication. The instruction says remove duplicated lines. So we must avoid duplication. So we need to decide where to place shift info. Probably Schedule section is appropriate for shift details. So we will omit that sentence from About the role. Thus About the role will include: relocation assistance available, training for adult RN experience, personalized orientation, description of NICU (32-bed quaternary care unit, only Level IV NICU in Washington receiving referrals from WA, AK, MT, ID, patients up to 50 weeks post-gestational age, unique congenital diagnoses requiring specialized pre/post-op surgical care, critically ill neonates with complex medical issues, specialized care includes ECMO/ECLS, cooling, in-room surgical procedures, high frequency oscillatory ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide, etc.). Also maybe mention that RN functions within scope etc? That's responsibilities. Responsibilities: Provide safe family centered care, using nursing care process assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating patient care collaboratively with patient/family/significant others/healthcare team, may supervise/delegate tasks to nurse techs, LPNs, CMAs, CNAs, assist in meeting strategic goals (CPI, Value Based Behaviors, Error Prevention, Patient Safety, Workforce Inclusion Diversity Equity and Access (IDEA) etc.) Requirements: Graduate of accredited school of nursing. Prior experience in pediatric related health care setting or specific area of nursing may be required for specific departments. Current Washington State RN License or other current state license required to work in. Current BLS for Healthcare Providers required at time of hire unless incumbent possesses appropriate Life Support Education required for practice area; BLS must be maintained until incumbent obtains appropriate Life Support Education required for practice area. NOTE: PEARS and PALS accepted in lieu of BLS; ACLS not accepted. Employees responsible for costs (including time away from work) associated with obtaining PALS or PEARS certification if not a requirement of the position. Nurses working in NICU required to successfully obtain PALS within 3 months of employment and subsequently maintain at all times. As per
