Registered Nurse-NICU- Contingent- Days/Evenings/Nights

Unit Overview

Our team of specially trained doctors, nurses and therapists treat babies in the NICU, attend high-risk deliveries, and, if needed, provide care immediately after birth. After your baby leaves the NICU, your pediatrician will handle his/her care. If a child born at another facility needs intensive care, our NICU transport team is available to transport infants from their birth hospital to Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit in less than 30 minutes.

Education/Experience Required

• BSN preferred
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel

Certifications/Licensures Required

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing
