Registered Nurse - Nursery/NICU (Nights)

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides excellent, clinically competent patient care by using the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. They effectively interact with patients, significant others, and other healthcare team members while maintaining professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Determines the effectiveness of nursing interventions by evaluating outcomes in relation to evidence-based practice.
• Ensures every patient receives quality care and services through efficient resource use.
• Makes decisions and performs services in the best interest of the patient, prioritizing the patient and the team.
• Positively contributes to the patient's experience and the success of the healthcare team.

Requirements

• Preferred Education: BSN
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in specialty is highly preferred

Qualifications

• Licenses/Certifications: Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Virginia or compact state; Must obtain BLS within 90 days, NRP within 60 days.
