Registered Nurse NICU 13-week assignment System Pool SRO

About the role

We dedicate our lives to caring for yours. BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking experienced NICU Registered Nurses to join our outstanding and compassionate staffing resource office team.

Responsibilities

• Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• Collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in the plan of care.
• Organizes and prioritizes and updates the plan of care in collaboration with the patient, family, and significant others in the department.
• Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares the room environment.
• Performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse license
• BLS ACLS (AHA)
• Associate degree in nursing (ASN), BSN preferred
• 2 years RN current hospital experience in NICU
• Prior experience with Cerner EMR strongly preferred
• Mandatory independent transportation for assignments/shifts
• Flexibility travel nurse experience preferred
