Role Overview
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatments using evidence-based practices, technology, and team coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and document therapy and treatment plans in compliance with regulations.
- Support a hybrid role supporting Med Surg and ICU units, maintaining Med Surg as home unit while gaining critical care experience through scheduled ICU shifts.
- Promote hospital mission, vision, and values, and adhere to service standards.
- Perform duties including patient assessment, medication administration, and equipment management.
- Float to other departments within scope as needed and may be on-call during shifts.
Qualifications & Skills
- Current RN license in the practice state.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred. RNs with over 15 years of experience may complete a different licensing requirement timeline.
- Certification relevant to the unit is preferred.
- Minimum one year of nursing experience preferred; new grads considered with specific training programs.
- Strong communication, manual dexterity, physical stamina, and ability to lift and assist patients.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Compliance with ongoing education and licensure requirements.

- Eligible for benefits, with hourly pay ranging from $34.11 to $51.73 based on experience.
Work Environment
Dynamic 18-bed Med Surg/Swing Bed unit and a 5-bed ICU with 24/7 critical care coverage, including tele-critical care services.
