About the role
Registered Nurse in Neurology providing patient care in a high‑acuity environment at Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown in Nashville, TN. The position is full‑time on day shift.
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to stroke and medical-surgical patients, ensuring safety and clinical excellence.
- Monitor and communicate real-time clinical changes for rapid, life-saving interventions.
- Empower patients to regain independence and improve overall quality of life.
- Manage the full discharge process, ensuring smooth transitions for patients and families.
Qualifications & Skills
- Current RN licensure from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or a multi-state license recognized by the Nurse Compact.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure.
- Preferred: 6+ months of acute care nursing experience.
