Registered Nurse - Neurology

Responsibilities

• Assigns, directs, educates, and monitors staff during shifts; contributes to performance evaluations.
• Assess daily patient care needs, develop care assignments, and ensure appropriate care delivery.
• Collaborates with advanced practice providers to achieve quality outcomes.
• Evaluates patient care effectiveness and addresses issues impacting outcomes.
• Handles patient care complaints through established channels.
• May participate in hiring, training, and staff development.
• Performs other duties as assigned, maintaining safety and alertness.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of accredited nursing program or equivalent licensing.
• At least one year of registered nurse experience.
• Strong communication, leadership, and assessment skills.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform patient and equipment handling tasks.

Certifications & Licenses

• Current RN license in applicable state (Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, Wisconsin) or a compact state license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
