Registered Nurse - Neurology

Responsibilities

• Assigns, directs, educates, and monitors nursing/support staff during shifts.
• Assesses patient care needs, develops care assignments, and ensures appropriate care delivery.
• Collaborates with advanced practice providers to achieve quality outcomes.
• Evaluates patient care effectiveness and addresses issues impacting outcomes.
• Responds to patient care complaints and manages through established channels.
• May assist with hiring, training, and staff evaluations.
• Performs duties with safety awareness and flexibility.

Qualifications and Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensing.
• Minimum of one year registered nurse experience.
• Strong communication, assessment, and leadership skills.
• Physical ability for standing, walking, lifting, and performing clinical tasks.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current RN license applicable to the state of work.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA.
