About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a Neuro ICU role, providing direct patient care in a specialized 30-bed unit dedicated to critically ill neurological and neurosurgical patients.
Responsibilities
- Caring for patients with conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, seizures, and post-neurosurgical recovery.
- Monitoring and managing advanced interventions like ventilators, intracranial pressure monitoring, and titratable drips.
- Performing detailed neurological assessments.
- Responding swiftly to patient condition changes.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including neurologists, neurosurgeons, intensivists, and therapists.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- At least one year of acute nursing experience.
- Current RN licensure in the appropriate state and BLS certification.
