About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse in Neuro ICU to provide direct patient care in a specialized 30-bed Neurosurgical ICU.
Responsibilities
- Care for critically ill neurological and neurosurgical patients, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, seizures, and post-surgical cases.
- Monitor and manage ventilators, titratable drips, intracranial pressure, and other advanced interventions.
- Conduct detailed neurological assessments and respond swiftly to patient condition changes.
- Collaborate with neurologists, neurosurgeons, intensivists, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- One year of acute nursing experience required.
- Current RN licensure and BLS certification are mandatory.
