About the role
A Registered Nurse (RN) is needed in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting. The position is available on a local or travel contract basis, with shifts working nights for 36 hours per week (three 12-hour shifts).
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill neonates
- Participate in ongoing education and training related to neonatal resuscitation and care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
Requirements
- At least 3 years of Level IV NICU experience within the past 5 years, including travel and experience with EPIC
- Basic Life Support (BLS - AHA or Red Cross) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Current Arkansas or Compact RN license
