Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive, family-centered nursing care to critically ill neonates across a range of acuity levels
- Continuous assessment, monitoring, and intervention for conditions such as prematurity, respiratory distress, congenital anomalies, and post-surgical recovery
- Partner closely with neonatologists, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate individualized care plans
- Utilize advanced technologies and evidence-based protocols to support optimal patient outcomes
- Educate and support families through highly emotional and complex care journeys
- Contribute to a fast-paced, highly specialized unit where clinical expertise and adaptability are essential
- Engage in continuous learning within an academic setting that supports professional growth, research, and innovation
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire.
- Experience: 1 year of relevant experience.
- Licensure: Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.

Pay
The pay range for this role is $39.90 - $53.00 hourly.
