Registered Nurse - Neonatal Intensive Care

About the Role

Provides direct nursing care in a pediatric critical care setting, focusing on patients with life-threatening, complex illnesses.

Responsibilities

• Delivers skilled care using advanced technology and interventions
• Initiates emergency treatments such as infant resuscitation
• Implements care plans and monitors patient conditions
• Coordinates multidisciplinary care and ensures discharge planning
• Applies evidence-based practices and adheres to professional nursing standards guided by the ANA Code of Ethics
• Performs other assigned tasks and maintains safety
• Demonstrates professional standards in patient care

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• At least six months of RN experience
• Valid licensure and certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and specific pediatric or neonatal life support credentials, depending on the state

• Ability to perform complex medical procedures and utilize technology

Physical Requirements
