Registered Nurse - Mother-Infant Unit

About the Role

Provides independent direct nursing care to patients and families in accordance with policies and procedures in a hospital Mother Infant Unit setting.

Schedule

Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Experience Levels

Four levels based on RN experience, ranging from less than 12 months to over 8 years.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts RN licensure
• BLS certification
• Relevant department-specific certifications
• BSN preferred; associate degree candidates encouraged to pursue a BSN within one year
• 1–2 years of telemetry or intermediate care experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Lifting, standing, walking, twisting, and bending
• Exposure to infectious and chemical hazards
• Fine manual dexterity and sensory acuity

Skills & Abilities

• Effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team
• Application of the nursing process
