Registered Nurse - Mother Baby Unit

About the Role

This position involves delivering compassionate, evidence-based nursing care in a Mother Baby Unit, ensuring safety and organizational standards are met. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams to provide seamless, holistic patient care, monitor patient conditions in real-time, and act as a vital communication link between patients and medical staff. Additionally, you will manage comprehensive discharge plans to support safe patient transitions from hospital to home.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing care delivery with a focus on safety and quality
• Coordinate a multidisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor and interpret patient conditions proactively
• Manage discharge planning for safe patient transitions

Requirements

• Licensed Registered Nurse from the Kansas Board of Nursing
• Diploma from an accredited nursing school or equivalent licensure
• Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation from AAP within 6 months of hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 1 month of hire
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification within 6 months of hire
