Registered Nurse - Mother-Baby

About the Role

The Registered Nurse in the Mother-Baby unit provides compassionate, evidence-based care to postpartum mothers and newborns, supporting family bonding and maternal health.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for mother-baby couplets
• Monitor and manage postpartum and neonatal conditions
• Support safe recovery, maternal health, and family bonding
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care and breastfeeding

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred
• Maryland Registered Nurse License
• American Heart Association BLS Certification
• NRP certification required before orientation completion
• Minimum of 1 year of Mother/Baby hospital experience
