Registered Nurse - Mother Baby

Role Overview

This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care in the Mother/Baby department, serving as a primary coordinator among healthcare disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care.

Responsibilities

• Implement, monitor, and communicate patient care plans and condition updates.
• Coordinate discharge planning and collaborate with healthcare team members.
• Follow physician and nursing orders accurately.
• Implement patient care plans, serve as a care coordinator, ensure proper documentation, and assist with discharge planning to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Licensed Registered Nurse credential from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or a multi-state license recognized in a compact state.
• Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation, and The S.T.A.B.L.E Program, obtained within specified timeframes.
• Educational requirement: diploma from an accredited nursing school or equivalent professional licensure.
