Registered Nurse - Mother Baby

Hospitals on Incredible Health is seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Mother Baby care in the Louisville, CO area. Applicants with experience in assisting with c-sections, deliveries, fetal NST, midwifery, nursery care, or on-call availability are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns during the postpartum period, monitoring both patients for signs of complications.
• Administer medications as prescribed and perform routine assessments of both maternal and newborn vital signs.
• Provide emotional support and education to new mothers, focusing on: safe, effective infant care, breastfeeding, and self-care post-delivery, while empowering them to care for themselves and their newborns.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and holistic care during and after the hospital stay.
• Accurately document maternal and newborn assessments, interventions, and outcomes in line with hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• 1+ year experience in a mother-baby, postpartum, or labor and delivery setting preferred.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathetic patient and family-centered care.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems.

Pay

$62,030 to $101,547 /year
