Registered Nurse - Medsurg - Full-Time - Night Shift

Role Overview

The position involves providing high-quality, evidence-based nursing care in a Med Surg setting, supporting a multi-campus team.

Responsibilities

• Own the nursing process from assessment to evaluation, delivering personalized patient care.
• Build meaningful connections with patients and families, respecting their values and care goals.
• Drive clinical outcomes by applying current best practices and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
• Foster a respectful, collaborative team environment, contributing to staff engagement and shared governance.
• Mentor colleagues through ongoing education, coaching, and professional development.
• Lead in applying evidence-based practices, supporting research and patient safety efforts.
• Plan proactively across the patient care journey, helping improve protocols and resource use.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (required); BSN preferred.
• RN license (required), BLS and ACLS certifications (required), national specialty certification (preferred).
• Minimum of 2+ years of recent Med Surg experience and experience with computer data entry.
• Familiarity with Epic and 3M systems is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office and managing clinical emergencies with composure.
