Registered Nurse on the Medical Telemetry unit

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to adult patients with complex medical and cardiac conditions
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and interpret telemetry rhythms
• Administer medications and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans
• Educate patients and families to support understanding and engagement in care
• Ensure safe transitions of care and support continuous clinical improvement
• Precept and mentor newer staff members

Qualifications & Skills

• Current RN licensure and relevant clinical experience in telemetry or acute care
• Strong assessment skills, clinical judgment, and ability to interpret cardiac rhythms
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Ability to work effectively within a diverse, team-oriented environment
• Commitment to professional growth, clinical excellence, and continuous learning
