Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Telemetry - Nights

About the Role

Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for patients in the Cardiovascular Medical Surgical Telemetry unit. Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, supervise unlicensed assistive personnel, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and high-quality experiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a specific patient population
• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Supervise and guide unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary care
• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Contribute to safety and high-quality patient experiences

Requirements

• Current Illinois RN license required
• Graduate of an NLN-accredited nursing school; BSN preferred
• BLS/CPR certification required
• Previous nursing or CNA experience preferred, especially for new graduates

Schedule

Full Time, Night shift (7pm-7:30am) with rotating weekends. 36 hours per week.
