About the role
Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive patient care in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Utilizing the nursing process for patient assessment, planning, and evaluation
- Coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams
- Monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing pain
- Performing wound care, IV therapy, and postoperative/preoperative care
- Ensuring patient safety, confidentiality, and rights
- Maintaining accurate documentation via EHR/EMR systems
- Participating in infection control and quality improvement activities
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN license in the state or compact licensing
- Preferred minimum of 1 year RN experience in acute care
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
- Additional certifications such as Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) may be required based on unit
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs regularly
- Prolonged standing and walking
- Capability to reach, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks necessary for patient care
