About the role

Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive patient care in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

  • Utilizing the nursing process for patient assessment, planning, and evaluation
  • Coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams
  • Monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing pain
  • Performing wound care, IV therapy, and postoperative/preoperative care
  • Ensuring patient safety, confidentiality, and rights
  • Maintaining accurate documentation via EHR/EMR systems
  • Participating in infection control and quality improvement activities

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN)
  • Current RN license in the state or compact licensing
  • Preferred minimum of 1 year RN experience in acute care
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
  • Additional certifications such as Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) may be required based on unit

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs regularly
  • Prolonged standing and walking
  • Capability to reach, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks necessary for patient care
