About the Role
Provides patient-centered care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by team members. Coordinates patient care with other departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and aligns duties with organizational mission, values, and standards.
Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
- Perform medication administration, wound care, and IV therapy.
- Support pain management, infection control, and patient safety measures.
- Utilize EHR/EMR systems for documentation and care planning.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).
- Maintains current RN licensure in the applicable state or with compact licensure.
- Preferred: more than 1 year of RN experience.
- Certifications: BLS through the American Heart Association (or within 30 days of hire); additional certifications like OCN may be required based on department.
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform tasks requiring reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting.
