Responsibilities
- Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care
- Affirms patient rights and confidentiality
- Captures patient care with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintains professional accountability
- Conducts clinical assessments
- Develops and implements care plans
- Maintains vital signs
- Administers medications
- Provides wound care
- Administers intravenous therapy
- Monitors telemetry
- Ensures adherence to safety protocols
- Enforces infection control measures
- Documents care accurately using EHR/EMR systems
Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited nursing program
- Current RN license
- Preferred: >1 year of RN experience
- Certifications: BLS and Oncology Certification
- Physical abilities: Lifts up to 50 lbs, stands, walks, bends, reaches, and twists
